Warcraft III Beta Patch Adds New Heroes

The latest patch to the Warcraft III Beta Test includes the noticeable addition of two new Neutral Heroes. The first of the new heroes is the Goblin Alchemist, who rides atop an Ogre slave and has the ability to attack strongly with both physical and chemical weapons. The second of the new heroes is the Firelord, a summoned Elemental that has gained both sentience and freedom: Over time the world became Azeroth, where Human wizards learned how to call back the Elementals through the art of summoning. The Firelord is one of these liberated Elementals. Consumed by hatred for all organic life, he roams the world he once called home, sewing chaos, wreaking vengeance, and inflicting pain with extreme prejudice. The patch also includes a host of fixes, balance changes, and map additions. Those interested in the full list can find it at Battle.net.
