Feral and GarageGames on The Gamesome Mac 8:03 AM | Sean Smith | Comment on this story
On tonight's broadcast of The Gamesome Mac, the Mac gaming radio program, hosts Sean Smith and Omaha Sternberg talk with David Stephen, owner of Feral Interactive, about his company's latest games, and with Mark Frohnmayer, director of internal development at GarageGames, about the Torque Network Library. Feral Interactive is one of the world's leading publishers of Mac games. Rayman 3, Championship Manager 03/04, Worms 3D, XIII, Chessmaster 9000, and Republic: The Revolution are only some of Feral's recent or upcoming titles. The Torque Network Library is a new, stand-alone version of the cross-platform networking API in GarageGames' Torque Game Engine and is available under any of three licenses: commercial, independent, and open source. Sean and Omaha will also offer Mac gaming news, reviews, and commentary, and together with their guests will take questions live from listeners in The Gamesome Mac's chat room and give away some games. The Gamesome Mac can be heard live on MacRadio from 6 to 8 pm Pacific Time, 9 to 11 pm Eastern (Tuesday from 0100 to 0300 UTC), and on demand thereafter. You can tune in at The Gamesome Mac's web page, where you'll also find archives of past broadcasts. QuickTime 5 or 6 and a 28 kbps or faster Internet connection are required.
