C&C: Generals Demo and Radeon 9000 Issues

Yesterday Aspyr Media released the long-awaited demo of Command & Conquer: Generals. Although most users have been successfully playing the demo without any problems, those with Radeon 9000 video cards in their Mac have been experiencing crashes with the game. In a conversation this morning with Aspyr's Glenda Adams, she acknowledged that they had received a number of crash logs confirming the problem with the Radeon 9000 video card and are currently working on a fix for both the demo and retail versions of the game. If you haven't already grabbed the demo, it is available at Macgamefiles.com and through Hot Downloads for IMG Pro users. The 376 MB demo will also be included in the first DVD issue of the MacGames DVD.
