WoW Beta Status Update, New Screenshots

Blizzard has recently updated the Battle.net news section with some more information regarding World of Warcraft, it's upcoming MMORPG. The first item notes that six new screenshots have been added which contain both Gnomes and Trolls. The Trolls in particular are showcased in a variety of shots, including one showing a Troll taking on a firearm-wielding Dwarf. The second item concerns the current state of the beta test signups: Once again we thank everyone for participating in our World of Warcraft beta test signups. Currently, we are reviewing the applications thoroughly, and we will notify selected testers by email before the start of each beta phase. Only selected testers will receive an email from Blizzard. Notification is slated to go out in the weeks ahead. We'll post more coverage on this highly anticipated title as we get it.
