Neverwinter Nights Expansions Head To Mac 9:02 AM | Tuncer Deniz | Comment on this story
MacSoft's Peter Tamte has confirmed to a gamer via email that the Neverwinter Nights expansion packs will be coming to the Mac. According to Tamte, the Shadows of Undrentide and Hordes of the Underdark will be available for the Mac in "the next couple of months." The first expansion pack, Shadows of Undrentide was originally released in the Spring of 2003 and features a new 20-hour single player gampaign. The expansion pack also includes new skills such asTumble and Appraise, new feats such as Divine Might, Extra Music and Bullheaded and new weapons, such as Holy Water Flasks and Choking Powder as well as new prestige classes. New monsters from the D&D universe include Medusa, Cockatrice, Sphinx, and Female Fire Giant; and dozens of new spells. Hordes of the Underdark was released late last year on the PC and features a 20+ hour single-player adventure. This expansion pack includes 6 new Prestige classes, 16 new creatures, over 50 new feats, 40 new spells and much more.
