IMG Picks Their Favorite uDevGame 2003 Entries 2:22 PM | Jean-Luc Dinsdale | Comment on this story
Mac game programming contest uDevGame 2003, designed to encourage and showcase game programming on the Mac, rewards individuals who can throw together a homemade game of any shape or form in two months. This year’s contest was the biggest yet, with forty-three games entered into competition, from simple platform jumpers and puzzle games to elaborately detailed RPGs and 3D network tank battles. The contest’s sponsors also poured in an incredible amount of support, donating over $27,000 worth of hardware, software, and game design resources. Following last night's awards ceremony on the internet radio show The Gamesome Mac, IMG writers Mike Apps, Galen Wiley, and Jean-Luc Dinsdale have waded through the numerous entries and picked their favorite three entries.
