New UT2004 Preview Posted 9:31 AM | Trevor Buchanan | Comment on this story
The folks over at Gamesradar.com have posted an interesting preview of the next in the series of Unreal games from Epic, Unreal Tournament 2004. Here's a bit of what they had to say: Here's the problem with UT2004. It's clearly the best Unreal game that Epic have ever made. But with no great technological leap, and what appears to be a cynical appropriation of Battlefield 1942's and Planetside's vehicles, it's going to have to fight to prove its worth. Let Mark Rein, Epic's Vice President, try: "Everything about this game is improved, so if you loved UT2003, then you'll love UT2004. If you skipped 2003 because it didn't appeal to you, then you're coming back. This game literally has it all. There's Onslaught, which is an awesome game mode with a whole bunch of new stuff. And UT2004's Assault mode is much better than the original Unreal Tournament Assault; it plays much better online." Follow the link below for the full preview. They've also got some nice screenshots on hand for your perusal.
