WWII Online 1.10 Info, New Screenshots 7:56 AM | Alvaro Radigales | Comment on this story
WWII Online HQ, the official community web site for the popular online simulation, recently updated their web site revealing some of the features that will be included in the upcoming update of the game to version 1.10. Among them is the possibility of walking freely on large vehicles, such as the newly added cargo ship: For those of you who haven’t been following the leaks, we do indeed have troopers walking around on vehicles. The first use of this new technology will be the Cargo Ship. This technology while very cool actually has some interesting gameplay and future dev implications, allowing us to open the doors to some new possibilities that we can exploit for your benefit. The cargo ship is initially being implemented to support some scenario dictates but will have a growing use in the game as well. The news article is accompanied by a few in-game screenshots and renders of the atwork progress.Other new units include the SdKfz251 half-track, the Stuart light tank (the render depicts the M5 model) and the light machine gunner, a brand new soldier class providing the much-needed support fire to spice up firefights.
