The official site for Deus Ex: Invisible War was recently launched online. Contained at the site is a wealth of information on the hotly anticipated sequel, including Biomod and weapon specifications, a gallery featuring screenshots and wallpapers, and a downloads section that currently features the opening movie to the game.

Also available is a developer's journal, which currently has an introduction that outlines the basic storyline. Among the threads are a religious order that seeks to unify all religions, factions that seek either to promote or eradicate biomodifications, and a group that seeks unity through economics. Another point brought up that gamers may not have thought about before is the lack of uniqueness concerning biomodded humans:

And since it's 20 years later, you're no longer the only biomodded human, as you were in Deus Ex -- now, there are others like you, and they all have their own thoughts about who's right and who's wrong in the global conflict.
