Giga Designs Refreshes Product Line

Giga Designs recently refreshed their entire line of G4 processor upgrades. Replacing the 1.4 GHz model will be two 1.25 GHz upgrades that use Motorola's PowerPC 7455B processor. They are guaranteed to run completely stable at 1.4 (GCB-1250-S2) and 1.467 GHz (GCB-1250-S2/Q), respectively, and will be priced similarly to competing 1.25 GHz upgrades. The 1 GHz model, which was guaranteed at run 1.2 GHz, will be replaced by a 1.25 GHz (GCA-1250-S2) product at the same price point ($389).
All G-celerator upgrades include 2 MB of SDR L3 cache and a 3 year limited warranty. Compatible systems include any Power Mac G4 with an AGP slot (excluding Mirror Drive Door Power Macs).
