Famed Macintosh porting house Westlake Interactive updated their project status page Monday with word of a new project. In regular Westlake fashion, however, the hard-working programming team have dubbed the project with a secret codename.

Project codename Renee is unusual in that it's the only codename to date to be printed in multicolored letters. The project, which appears to be Mac OS X-only, is listed as being in the early stages of development.

The other codename projects on the company's status page, projects Cellar and Zoot Suit, which were announced in mid-January, are reported to be at the alpha and beta stages of development, respectively. The third secret project announced in January, project Leading Light, was recently uncovered to be Medal Of Honor Allied Assault: Spearhead, also listed as being in beta.

As with previous secret titles, conjecture on the title's meaning has already started - IMG's forum readers have already started the ball rolling with some pretty interesting guesses. Click on the links at the bottom of this page to find out.
