Freeverse Newsletter Released, Updates Noted 9:04 AM | Eddie Park | Comment on this story
Freeverse Software has released issue #3 of MontyMail, their official newsletter. Besides the usual recipie, jokes, and Monty posturing, this month's issue has some information regarding two upcoming titles, though Freeverse is quick to point out that their mystery title "Again?" is not included in the list: Freeverse has got some tricks up its sleeve this year, and one of them is this game which we're not going to assign a codename to, because it's one that's already listed at our European partner, Virtual Programming's website. Legion, the strategic game of Roman Empire conquest makes you the Emperor, tasked with expanding the empire while other tribes are attempting to do the same with their own empires. This game should be coming to North America for Macintosh very soon. And, if you're wondering, it's not the same game as "Again?", which we announced last issue. We've also got another game, which we're not going to announce a code name for. Until we do (or we announce a real name), it's just a secret. :) In other news, Freeverse has also updated several demos, including Payback and Wingnuts, which come with minor updates such as improved OpenGL compatibility. Those interested in downloading the demos can find them at MacGameFiles.
