PlayMyth.net today made two announcements that are sure to please many Mac gamers. The first is a patch for Myth II: Soulblighter that not only fixes a number of things, but also adds OS X support, a feature long sought after by Myth II fans. Although there will be no public beta of the patch, the patch is to be released on March 15th, which is not too far away. PlayMyth also announced a release date for the long awaited Myth III patch, which is slated to be released on April 15th. Here's a list of fixes for both patches: On March 15th, the updater will be released to bring Myth II: Soulblighter to version 1.3.2! The first update to Myth II in several years, brought to you by Myth Developers and Project Magma, features these enhancements:-Updated for Mac OS X, Windows XP/2000 - no more disappearing cursor under XP, no more rebooting to OS 9 (Software mode only supported under OS X) -Updated Video Card support -Secured Network Communications - keeps client/server communications hack-free -Reduced in-lobby chat lag with large number of plug-ins -loaded -Various other performance enhancements What could possibly follow that? How about a release date for the completed Myth III: The Wolf Age update? April 15th is the date.
