Scott Kevill has released an update to his popular online gaming service, GameRanger. The new version, bringing it to version 3.01, includes various fixes and changes. In order to grab the update, you must log onto GamerRanger to install the update. At this time there was no seperate download available to grab 3.01. Here's a list of bug fixes and changes included in the 3.01 update: Added type-selection to all list views Increased voice chat limit to 20 seconds instead of 10 Added support for Page Up/Page Down/Home/End keys in icon views Added support for Home and End keys for chat text view Fixed buddy list occasionally starting hidden on launch Worked around a bug in UT's server code "Search Results" caption uses a smaller font now Changed scrollwheel behaviour to accommodate 10.2's scrollwheel preferences Main window can't be brought to front now after a connect-failed alert appears List of online buddies wasn't updated occasionally when returning from a game Unload all plug-ins before an auto-update Chat entry field wasn't always highlighted after launching Fixed End key not updating list views Fixed warning that would sometimes occur changing sort column for game list view Fixed crash from clicking a contextual menu on an empty chat text field Fixed sorting by player name for server info view GameRanger is a completely customized Macintosh-friendly environment for players to meet worthy opponents, organize and play games, discuss strategies, and exchange tricks and ideas. Persistent player accounts, profiles, chat rooms, game rooms, audio voice chat, paging, server lists and powerful filtering are just a handful of the features GameRanger offers.
