Laminar Research recently announced that a new version of their X-Plane flight simulator is now available. Version 5.32 adds several new planes, including Airbus and Lancair models, to this extremely flexible simulator. Also included in the update is a 22% frame-rate boost from version 5.31 and before. Laminar also patched a large number of bugs as well, and included a space shuttle re-entry simulation to their panoply of simulation options.

Also included on their website is a feature list for version 5.33, which is now in development. They are adding thrust-vectoring as a maneuvering option for some of the more modern aircraft in the simulation -- so you can fly cutting-edge machines such as the F-22!
