New Medal of Honor Screenshots Available 6:00 AM | Eddie Park | Comment on this story
The folks at Aspyr Media let us know yesterday that they have made available some new screenshots of Medal of Honor: Allied Assault. The shots are from the third level of the game, which involves the storming of Omaha beach, and are quite compelling, showing scenes such as the boat ride up to the beach, a view through a sniper scope, and soldiers covering their heads as a nearby explosion kicks up a huge cloud of sand and debris. The shots themselves are quite large and are all TIFF files. They are available as a zipped download that weighs in at 13.9 MB, a little hefty for those without broadband, but well worth it for those wanting to take a closer look at this upcoming title. Aspyr plans on releasing a batch of ten screenshots from a new level every Monday from now until the game hits store shelves. For those unfamiliar with the title, Medal of Honor: Allied Assault is a first-person shooter that places players squarely in the midst of World War II. More information on this title can be found in IMG's recent preview.
