New Parsec LAN-Test Released

The saga that is Parsec continues. In development since 1997, this 3D shooter has evolved greatly over time; as the latest screen shot on the parsec web site reveals, the visuals of the game have taken another leap in quality with a marked increase in texture resolution and polygon detail.
Now the freeware space shooter has been updated once again with the release of a new Parsec LAN-Test. Here's what the Parsec team has to say about the new test:
We have released a new build (0197) of the Parsec LAN-Test, which is primarily a bug-fix release. Please see the README for details. Unfortunately, we currently cannot host the Parsec LAN-Test packages on our own server (due to an outrageous amount of traffic after the last release), which delayed this release. By now, there should be enough mirror servers, however. Interested in downloading the latest and greatest Parsec? Head over to Macgamefiles.com and download the 86 MB file.
