MacSoft's Riding in Style 12:08 PM | Michael Eilers | Comment on this story
Well, here's a new one - perhaps taking a cue from Gathering of Developer's infamous Promised Lot, an outdoor exhibit formed in protest to the high prices for exhibitors at E3, MacSoft has come up with an innovative way to showcase their new products without paying IDG for the privilege. They will be holding their meetings and demos in a limo, parked at the curb outside the Javits Center. Definitely a cool idea. Here are the details: Directly in front of the convention center is a taxi & limousine stand. There will be a big stretch limo there with a MacSoft sign. We'll be there waiting for you. PRESS MEETINGS WILL BE IN THE LIMO, NOT IN THE CONVENTION CENTER!! We'll have refreshments and snacks, along with demos of Beach Head 2000, Links LS 2000, Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. Maybe a couple of other surprises as well?
In addition we'll be providing you with a press kit that includes all of our new announcements, which Mac Gamers everywhere will love, along with a special goodie bag for the meeting. While we are scratching our heads about Beach Head 2000, we have known that the other titles were coming for quite some time; in fact you may find that a few of Westlake Interactive's project slots will be pencilled in once the official announcements are released.
