Inside Mac Games has posted a new review of Amnesia: The Dark Descent from Frictional Games. The survival horror title drops players into the depths of darkness in the role of an amnesiac trapped in a foreboding castle. While on the run from unnatural horrors they will have to struggle to survive and remain sane.
Here's an excerpt from the review:
The audio features of Amnesia really work. They serve, almost more then the graphics, to paint the image of a dark and dismal mansion, as well as drawing you into Danielís insanity. The sounds are all nicely rendered and very realistic. Listening through my stereo, I could close my eyes and easily grasp Danielís terror, feeling the creeps from a distant scream or cry, and wondering what was creaking the wooden floors above me. It is so well done that I never managed to convince myself to play late at night with the audio cranked and the lights out.ÖCheck out the full article at the link below.
