LEGO Universe Winter Season Events Announced 6:00 AM | Cord Kruse | Comment on this story
The LEGO Group recently announced some new events scheduled for the new LEGO Universe MMO. The winter celebration festivities will include new missions, a new area to explore, and the chance to build a gingerbread house. LEGO Universe allows players to create their own custom LEGO minifigure and venture forth to combat the Maelstrom, join with friends to complete missions, and collect bricks to build imaginative creations. The Mac version is powered by TransGaming's Cider Portability Engine. Are you ready? The winter season is here! Come spread some Frostivus spirit in Frostburgh throughout December - the all-new winter-themed zone in LEGO(R) Universe, and take part in tons of new fun-filled missions every day! For example, check out The Vertigo Loop Racetrack which has been hit by a furious Space Blizzard. Build a car, then dare challenge the icy conditions on the track! Or collect Candy Canes and spend them at Hansel Tinsel's shop to unlock Reward Models and Items so you can build and decorate your own Ginger Bread House. Frostburgh is located on an icy comet which only approaches the Nimbus System once a year, and there is plenty to explore. So make sure you come and celebrate Frostivus before the holiday is over!
