IMG Reviews Star Wars The Force Unleashed: USE 6:00 AM | Cord Kruse | Comment on this story
Inside Mac Games has posted a new review of Star Wars The Force Unleashed: Ultimate Sith Edition. Brought to the Mac by Aspyr Media the game puts players in the role of Darth Vader's secret apprentice and gives them the chance to unleash the force without restraint. Here's an excerpt from the review: On the graphical side of things, however, The Force Unleashed is truly fun to watch. There are numerous areas throughout the game where you can rip objects to pieces, shatter glass, break machinery, and even use pieces of the environment as weapons. A lot of care was obviously put into every level, as the themes remain consistent throughout and the level design reflects the nature of the environment. A good example of this is the junk planet mission. You spend your time blowing holes in the side of junked scrap, leaping over acid pits, smacking around scavengers and jawas, and fighting living energy constructs that use junk as weapons. All the models look about what you'd expect, and there are plenty of particle effects to go around. It makes little to no sense within the Star Wars universe for junk to be able to take on a full-powered Sith, but hey. It looks darn good doing it. Follow the link below to read the full review.
