iGame Radio Logo Contest Winner Announced 6:00 AM | Cord Kruse | Comment on this story
iGame Radio recently announced the winner of the iGame Radio Logo Contest. Started in February, the contest called for artists and designers to create a logo for the iGame Radio podcast. After a one week public vote, Thomas Filipiak was declared the winner. “I can’t thank everyone who participated in the contest enough,” said host Omaha Sternberg, “from the contestants to the sponsors to the public who voted. The logo of Thomas and his team will make a great addition to the iGame Radio design.” "We’ve had much fun participating in the contest as a team,” said Thomas Filipiak, “and are very proud that our submission will be a part of something now even more cool to visit." Thomas Filipiak and his team took first place for his submission #15. In second place was Jack Shiels for his submission #18, and Lincoln Green took third place for his submission #23. In a change to the original rules, the three top winners will share the prize package. All contestants will receive a free iGame Radio t-shirt from the iGame Radio Café Press store. The logo contest brought together seven sponsors, twelve contestants, twenty-four logo submissions, and a prize package worth $770. The prize package features donations from sponsors MusicSkins, PopCap Games, Howling Moon Software, Creaceed, Griffin Technology, Codeweavers, and Omni Group. All submissions can be seen on the iGame Radio flickr site, accessible via the iGame Radio website. For more information visit the site listed below.
