Jungle Heart Reviewed 8:49 AM | Cord Kruse | Comment on this story
Macworld's Game Room recently reviewed Jungle Heart, a colorful side scrolling action game from Russian developer White Elephant. Jungle Heart details the adventures of Joy, a flying elephant who must go on a quest to save his home in Banana Land. The Game Room gave Jungle Heart 3.5 out of 5 mice. From the review: None of the action is too violent—the game is perfectly suitable for young players. Birds disappear in a drifting cloud of feathers, for example, and the crocodiles vanish into bursts of spheres. All of this is all wrapped in an irresistibly cute animated environment that looks straight out of a Disney film. The soundtrack and sound effects are equally cute. The game even features parallax scrolling, so you can see the background passing by you as you fly through the jungle. fact, the Disney influence is just about everywhere in this game. Joy’s story is recounted between levels by a baboon who’s the spitting image of The Lion King’s Rafiki. To read the full review and learn more about the game follow the links below.
