Ambrosia Software has updated its Redline progress forum to reveal new additions to the latest beta of their forthcoming racing game. The latest version, 1.0b10, primarily adds network/multiplayer components, minor fixes and enhancements. A list of changes follows: - new network physics code, which is much more bandwidth efficient, and now worked stable in 6 player games for our tests. - can show a MOTD in multiplayer lobby - uses IMA compressed sounds - new artwork for canyon track -updated ambrosia libs, networking should be more stable now. -some minor artwork changes -registration system in place -variable redline indicators for different cars (since it has been requested so often). -ability to turn off background replays for lower powered machines. -some new sounds. -many, many bug fixes Click on the links below to learn more information.
