The winners of the 2006 Independent Games Festival Awards have been announced, and Introversion Software has taken the Seumas McNally grand prize for Darwinia. Darwinia's grand prize netted the company $20,000. Ambrosia Software published the Mac version of the game, so be sure to check out the demo if you haven't already. Other Mac-friendly winners included the Flash MMORPG Dofus and the browser-based Dad 'N Me. Mods for Neverwinter Nights and Doom 3 were also awarded. Also Digital Eel's Weird Worlds: Return to Infinite Space is reportedly coming to Mac OS X in the near future.
