Blizzard Entertainment has recently announced new events and content for their smash hit MMORPG World of Warcraft. First is the Feast of Winter Veil, an in game event which will offer all new activities and goodies for players to enjoy during the holiday season.It is Winter Veil, Azeroth! Come, raise your glass!

The Feast of Winter Veil has once again come to Azeroth! In addition to the quests and fun that were available last year, there are all-new activities and goodies for you to enjoy! So come, embrace the holiday spirit with your fellow adventurers through late December!Next is a new movie contest sponsored by Xfire. Participants will create movies set in Azeroth based on one of three main themes: Dance, Comedy, or Drama. Over $10,000 in prizes will be awarded to 39 lucky contestants. This contest runs from December 14, 2005 to January 21, 2006. Five prizes, such as Xbox 360 Premium game consoles, XFX GeForce 7800 GTX video cards (PCI-Express), and Sound Blaster X-Fi Platinum sound cards, will be awarded for each of the three categories listed above. In addition, 10 prizes will be awarded for special categories, including: Best Picture, Best Dialog, Best Editing, and Best Music. For players interested in enticing a friend or loved one into Azeroth Blizzard is offering three discount coupons. Current subscribers to WoW can use the three coupons to purchase copies of the game for the low price of $19.95 after a mail-in rebate.It's hard to believe it's been a year since World of Warcraft first opened to adventurers.
