BBS Doc creator takes on Text Adventures

Gaming site Gamasutra has a quick blurb stating that Jason Scott, director of the recent indie documentary BBS: The Documentary, has announced he is working on a new documentary. Titled Get Lamp, the new documentary will delve into the 30 year history of the text adventure game. Filming and interviews are expected to begin in 2006, and Scott has set up a mailing list for interested viewers to be contacted when the film is complete. "The history of this interesting genre of game and entertainment is now over 30 years," says Scott in the project FAQ, "and I think the time has come to tell its story."
