Fansite WideloadGames.org Covers Stubbs 10:15 AM | Conrad Quilty-Harper | Comment on this story
Cross-platform game publishers Aspyr Media, and Wideload Games, the development team comprised of Alexander Seropian and former Bungie Studio employees, revealed Stubbs the Zombie in Rebel without a Pulse last October. Since then they have been working hard to bring the game to store shelves by the summer. Stubbs the Zombie brings humor to a genre of game that usually involves scaring the player. You take the role of an undead Edward "Stubbs" Stubblefield in a late 1950's world. From the official story page: Stubbs doesn’t know who killed him or why he’s returned. All he knows is that this strange city of towering buildings, bright lights, and incredible machines wasn’t here before...and that eating somebody’s brains would make him feel better. Since before Stubbs was announced the fansite WideloadGames.org has been reporting on Wideload Games' announcements and press releases. This .org offshoot hopes to build a community around Wideload Games, with Stubbs the Zombie and any future games that Wideload inevitably releases. Of special note to IMG readers, WideloadGames.org recieved a new member to help keep the masses back; The Battle Cat. The IMG Forum moderator Gary Simmons will be helping out with news reports at the fansite in the future. To read more about Stubbs the Zombie and Wideload Games, head over to the link below.
