Glenda Adams On COD 1.5 Patch [Updated] 10:35 AM | Eddie Park | Comment on this story
Mac gamers who have been inquiring about a version 1.5 patch for Call of Duty may want to check a related thread in IMG's forums. Among other posters, Glenda Adams has made two comments of note, with the first post explaining that Aspyr currently has code for the 1.5b version, and is currently waiting for the same version patch on the PC side to go final before releasing it. As to why version 1.5 was skipped, the hold-up seems to be on Activision's end: Activision keeps telling us another patch is coming and the current 1.5/1.5.1 has problems on the PC so we shouldn't release it. We're waiting for Activision to release the new client patch. Until the PC patch is released we can't make sure we have the final 1.5.1 client code on the Mac to release.I'm not sure what is taking Activision so long, we've been asking them non-stop for weeks. Those looking for more information are encouraged to check the rest of the thread.Update:Good news for COD owners. Glenda Adams told IMG this afternoon that Aspyr has received the COD code update from Activision and that they have a patch in QA. It should be released shortly.
