Macgamefiles.com (MGF), the popular Macintosh game download site, recently celebrated its 10 millionth download making it the most popular download site for Mac gamers. With its continued growth, the demands placed on the original two mirrors have, unfortunately, caused a lot of frustration for Mac gamers with slow download speeds.

Today MGF is announcing the launch of 4 new speedy dedicated download servers. Three are currently operational, while the fourth is being brought up this weekend. A fifth server will be brought online in the coming month.

The new download serves are being sponsored by Inside Mac Games, Pangea Software, and Freeverse Interactive. Additional sponsors will be announced shotly.

Macgamefiles.com will also be undergoing a major rehaul in the coming months. In addition to a complete redesign, the site will be re-written from the gound up and will incorporate dozens of new features.
