AANetTools for America's Army 12:13 PM | Eddie Park | Comment on this story
Players of America's Army may be interested in a set of tools for multiplayer play. Titled AANetTools, the package contains two utilities: AAIP, which is used to connect directly to a server via its IP address, and AALAN, which allows for the configuration and launching of an AA server. - First, if you host a LAN server for your friends at home at the time of a LAN party. But perhaps someone can not come! No problem, he runs AAIP et type the LAN's external IP (or DNS).
- Otherwise, if your are not enought you can create a "Global" server (which is listable by all other online players). Usually your friends on your LAN could not join your global server, but with AAIP they can! Just by typing your local IP (or DNS).
AANT is a free download, and can be gotten from MacGameFiles.
