Macgamestore.com has announced the addition to its webstore of two new DLC packs for Aspyr Media's Civilization V: Civilization and Scenario Pack - Denmark and the Vikings and the Explorer's Map Pack. The Denmark pack adds the Denmark civilization and a new scenario to the game, while the Explorer's Map Pack introduces ten new single player maps to Civ V.

Mac|Life recently posted a new review of Spiderweb Software's latest RPG, Avadon: The Black Fortress. The first chapter of a new saga, the game puts players in the role of a spy and warrior tasked to defend the homeland from its many enemies. The game features four different character classes, dozens of sidequests, hundreds of items to discover, and many different possible endings. Mac|Life gave the game a score of 4 out of 5.

After choosing from one of four characgter classes, you'll be called upon to play the part of an agent of The Hand, a powerful cadre of warriors, priests, and wizards who carry out the decrees of The Black Fortress. Disney Interactive Studios has released a new collection of screenshots for Cars 2: The Video Game. Coming to Macs sometime this summer, the new title is inspired by the film and will allow players to jump into the Cars universe with a brand new international spy theme. The game will feature an array of beloved Cars characters competing in spy adventures, as well as racing.

Star racecar Lightning McQueen (voice of Owen Wilson) and the incomparable tow truck Mater (voice of Larry the Cable Guy) take their friendship to exciting new places in Cars 2 when they head overseas to compete in the first-ever World Grand Prix to determine the world’s fastest car. Blizzard Entertainment, in a new Battle.net blog post, has revealed some images of Tier 12 armor sets scheduled to be available in World of Warcraft with the release of the upcoming 4.2 patch. In addition to the new armor sets, the patch will include a new raid, new epic quest, two new daily quest areas, and the new Dungeon Journal.

Patch 4.2 is now available on the Public Test Realms. A sizable portion of this content has been in development for some time, so let’s get it in gear! With a new raid, a legendary questline, the most diverse daily quest hub to date, major story developments, user interface enhancements, and much more, patch 4.2 is certain to have something for everyone.
