AvP Game Save Cheat Available 8:42 AM | Eddie Park | Comment on this story
Mac gamers who happen to still have a copy of Aliens vs. Predator lying around may be interested in a recently released cheat. Published by Andronic, the cheat allows players to save an infinite amount of times in each level, rather than being limited to the small store of saves the game normally allows. Use this Patcher to get an infinite number of saved games in Aliens vs. Predator™ from Fox Interactive/MacPlay. Usually you are only allowed to save three times during a whole episode. In "Realistic" difficulty the game is a lot of fun but because of the speed quite hard to finish. So repeating the same part over and over again is a real pain. Andronic adds that the patcher should not be used in the very last level, known as "Hangar," as the save file there contains additional content. Those interested in downloading the patch can get it from MacGameFiles.

Role-playing game developer Spiderweb Software, authors of the staggeringly popular Exile and Avernum series, recently updated the scenario editor for their latest title Blades of Avernum to version 1.0.1. The scenario editor allows players to weave intricate, living worlds complete with custom graphics and sounds, powerful scripts and nonlinear plot elements, expanding the game's replayable nature to previously unkown levels. Version 1.0.1 corrects some bugs that could be encountered when importing outdoors sections or clearing creatures and items, and is already available for download at Spiderweb Software's web site at the modest size of 4.9 mb.
