How soon do you guys think? I'm hoping for a hybrid cd.

I like how recently they're finishing the game instead of daily updates.

I also like trusting people. Carmack and company are a band of blokes who have proven their worthiness of it.

It will be supported for us mac gamers guys. I have the video on my mac from back when John Carmack was showing off the graphics when GF3 came out in mac's. Problem with that is they have redesigned the graphics engine about 3 times since then so I can assure you what ran on a GF3 then does not now.

John has said that this is going to be the last game he works on. He wants to spend more time trying to develop a rocket to fly into space.

Carmack anounced that they were doing a Mac version way back when they were showing off the Geforce 3 at Macworld. I wouldn't doubt the Mac version isn't far behind the PC version.

I can't wait for the Mac version to come out so that all you dorks who miss every single mention of the Mac version which is NOT an "official annoucement from a Mac publisher" can eat some serious crow.

iD has superb Mac support. They always have. Quake 3 Test, RTCW out weeks before the PC versions, and you guys are going to act like they're Half-Lifing us. Believe it or not no news doesn't mean no Mac version. Carmack and Duffy have both commented on the Mac version many times. They aren't hand-holding your every reassurance because they don't need to!

WSTE, how can you be so sure?
