The last couple HP games from EA have used proprietary EA code that prevents them from being ported to the Mac. Unfortunately I believe the new game still does.

If any more HP games are to come the macs way can they please work!! I've lost count how many times 'CoS' has gone wrong mid game. I actually bought my son a PS2 just so he could play Harry Potter games because I gave up waiting for a patch from the developers. They assure me the program works fine in OSX and the patch released is for OS9. I assure them is doesn't. I also know 3 other people who've experienced the very same prolems I have, so I know it's probably not a 'one off' glitch with my machine.
I welcome new games for the Mac - but only if they're not rushed out, bugged up to the eyeballs!! |

Ditto to what Mike said - I'd love to have PoA for Mac (Aspyr, are you listening?). I was also hoping for Quidditch World Cup, but that never happened either. |

I was disapointed that the "Prisoner of Azkaban" never made it to the Mac. My kids and I loved playing "The Sorcerer's Stone" and "The Chamber of Secrets" together. "P of A" is still on my wish list, Aspyr, but at least consider porting the "Goblet of Fire". |
